EV charging by type of site

Our dual 22kW AC chargers suit places where cars stay parked for an hour or more. Pick your type of site to see how the install, access and package would work for you.

Matching the charger to the stay

AC charging works best where cars stay put. Most cars accept 7.4kW or 11kW on AC, adding roughly 25 to 37 miles of range an hour (LGA, derived). The longer the dwell time, the more useful the charge.

Here's how that plays out by sector:

  • Hotels: guests park overnight, which is long enough to fill almost any car.
  • Wedding venues: guests are on site from ceremony to evening reception, and often stay over.
  • Holiday parks and caravan sites: stays run to days, so a small shared hub can serve the whole park.
  • Pubs and restaurants: a meal gives a solid top-up and a reason to choose you over the place down the road.
  • Car parks: commuter and long-stay parking turns empty hours into charging time.
  • Retail: garden centres, farm shops and retail parks keep shoppers on site long enough to add real range.
  • Workplaces: staff park for a full shift, with access control, load management and reporting built in.
  • Fleet depots: vans parked overnight charge on AC without the cost of rapid chargers.

What stays the same everywhere

Every site gets the same Victus 22kW dual pedestal, with two Type 2 sockets so two cars charge at once. We handle the survey, the Northern Powergrid application, installation, payments, monitoring, driver support and maintenance.

You choose between two packages: Shared Investment, where you pay for installation, we supply and run the chargers, and the revenue split is agreed for your site, or Owned & Managed, where you own the kit and keep the full return.
